Remote, rural escape. Very quiet place, good sleep Nice rural surrounding. Parking in closed yard. Very warm and friendly welcome by hosts. Tap water is not drinkable but enough bottled water in the fridge. Well equipped kitchen, you can make your breakfast. Coffee, tea available. Good, strong wifi. Left car at Neos Hotel car park, hotel provided packed lunch, the Neos shuttle took us to beginning of the walk at 7.30am. End of walk, took Boat from Agia Roumeli to Sougia (approx 45mins) then bus from Sougia to hotel Neos Omalos (approx 1.5 hrs) Purchased bus ticket at beginning of gorge walk as suggested by hotel, it all worked perfectly. Ended up staying an additional night at Neos. Staff outstanding, food delicious. Couldn’t fault it and no hesitation in recommending.Guest review byJackieYoung couple
