We had an incredible stay at Kalithea Studio. The location was perfect, with easy access to the village and the beaches. This has been our favourite holiday spot after visiting Crete for over ten years. The accommodation was perfect—well-equipped with fresh linens, comfortable beds, under-bed storage for suitcases, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, a large bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, a kitchen area, and comfy sofas. Outside, we enjoyed a sunny balcony with magnificent views of Palekastro. Andrea is an exceptional host who made our stay truly enjoyable.

Very comfortable studio with good facilities and an excellent balcony style terrace with superb views over Palekastro village, Chiona bay and Kourmenos.. Andrea is an excellent host who made us very welcome. The studio is just a 3 minute drive from Palekastro or 15 minute stroll

I had only booked for one night and unwittingly reserved the very small studio. Small as it is, it's perfect (it's effectively a tiny detached house), located at the top of an olive grove, with views over Palaikastro and the sea. There's a small fridge and a kettle + coffee, tea, etc. No aircon, but a very good fan. Everything is brand new and well thought out. It would be the perfect place to write a novel (or at last get started on one). Excellent parking and very easily accessible just on the "outskirts" of tiny Palaikastro, on a road with hardly any traffic (I'm allergic to traffic noise). Totally quiet. There's a decent mini market (and more shops) a 5-minute drive away. I couldn't see a WiFi network, but reception for my UK phone provider was excellent. Andrea, the host, is super welcoming and helpful. I will definitely return for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosa’s House. Rosa is a delightful host who warmly greeted us upon arrival, making us feel right at home. Each day, we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful treats left at our door. The apartment was impeccably equipped with everything we could possibly need. House Margot is perfectly situated in a quiet part of a thriving village. At short walking distance from a bakery, a greengrocer, a chemist's, supermarkets, shops, bars and tavernas. The location is excellent to explore (north) Eastern Crete and House Margot provides simply perfect accommodation. No frills, all substance. Airy rooms with comfortable, ample beds, a desk with mirror. A fridge, small plates, mugs, glasses and an electric kettle to enjoy breakfast, or a snack, on the balcony. It has good solid furniture inside and out. The bathroom has a large tiled shower with a handle bar that may be used to skip the threshold, if needed. My partner, who sprained an ankle a few days before our trip, particularly appreciated it as it amply accommodated a special shower seat we brought with us. Manos was the perfect host. Attentive to our needs and very helpful. He came to meet us at dawn to guide us to our room. He managed to move us to a room with only three steps to reach it, at very short notice. He provided a hairdryer and extra pillows and was always ready to help us further, if needed. We had a wonderful and very restful time.

    The house was exceptionally clean, featuring numerous amenities and tasteful decoration. Each room had its own A/C, ensuring comfort throughout. The yard was charming, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. Conveniently located near a mini-market and the main square, with the added bonus of parking available right outside the house.

    There are five excellent houses at the location. Parking right next to the property. Amazing long pool - inviting and super clean. Each house has a kitchen with a couch. Bedroom and bathroom with large shower stall. You can dine and have breakfast in two restaurants at the beach. Owner welcomed us. Staff was available at the property. Very quiet and calm nights. Maximum satisfaction.

    We were very satisfied with this accommodation. It was clean, in a quiet out of town location but still just 10 minutes on foot from the village center (shops, restaurants, bars etc.). The reception was manned during the day and we could see them taking care of the properties plants and live fence on a daily basis. Free parking available and very conveniently located right in the yard. All the appliances we used worked. I would definitely stay in the same place again if given the chance and recommend it to others.
