My friend and I spent a few days at Lake atitlan, and I must say that this was the best hostel in the area. Right in the lake. You could actually walk out of the room and get into the lake in just mere seconds. The room was clean and tidy. The owner was to put it simply, one of the best human beings I've ever had the pleasure to meet

I loved the location of the accommodation, it’s a 5min walk from the main area with the bars, restaurants, etc but there are so many restaurants close by as well! And it was really quiet at night and in the evenings which was great to chill and relax! Julio and his family are so so friendly! We got a nice breakfast every morning and sat with him and talked about a lot of things and he was very helpful with giving advice and tips on what to do. Ask him about booking trips and activities since it was cheaper than online! The dorm room was simple but you had everything you needed and there is a plug at every bed which was amazing. It really was more like a homestead than a hostel/hotel which was really really nice and comforting and made everyone feel like at home!

What a hidden surprise in a busy street! Room was spotless clean, the staff was super friendly at all times and breakfast was great! All facilities in the apartment were great to have, moreover if you are traveling with kids and family.
