This place is amazing! It’s such a lovely place to stay. The rooms were nice and facilities were all good. The staff are so so nice, make you feel like family and will help you with anything you need. Definitely good to share a drink with, amazing people and we did the Rinjani trek with them, which was such an amazing experience. Considering coming back to lombok to stay here again!

This is definitely one of the hidden gems of Lombok. The staff are absolutely lovely, the food is frankly amazing, and the rooms were lovely and comfortable all for a reasonable price. I would definitely come back here again!

I arrived late at night after a long ferry and drive and someone was waiting for me and just showed me straight to my room. The room was private and comfortable, the staff were super lovely and the banana pancakes for breakfast were amazing! If you’re trekking Rinjani I’d definitely recommend staying here and booking with these guys as well! Super easy and the tour is all inclusive and you can leave your bags at the property :)

The host & his wife were really wonderful people, who helped accommodate us with our every need. We needed a driver, and they fixed it for us as well as a guide to visit the waterfalls. Since there isn’t a lot to eat or shop in the neighbourhood (except one little shop for drinks and snacks) the host cooked a wonderful meal for us as well as breakfast. The bungalow has the best view on rice and tobacco fields and the sunsets here, with the mount Rinjani in the back are truly mesmerizing.

We had a great time at Ila homestay. Our stay was 2 nights/3 days and while we were in Senaru we went to the waterfalls, the coffee garden, the traditional village and did a day trip to Sembalun. There is plenty to do (even if you’re not hiking Rinjani!) and we wish we stayed longer. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The shower had good water pressure and nice hot water. There’s a common area where you can sit and talk to Jull and his family or grab some food. The included breakfast is large and delicious. We also had the best Gado Gado we’ve had in Indonesia at Ila Homestay, the cooking is great! The hosts were fantastic and great to talk to. Jull was very informative about local attractions and can help to organise tours to Rinjani and the nearby waterfalls. Jull can also help organise transport to and from the property.

I really can recommend this place! Right from the start, the welcome drink made me feel special. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The food was also amazing we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room is also very cozy and we slept really well there. No sound of cars or scooters,… The host spoke great English and was very helpful with tips for local activities. You also can take a swim there in the river and the view of the rice fields is amazing. Thank you for this unforgettable stay. Can’t wait to come back.
