Pot of gold – 30 mins drive from Riung Modern clean room with ensuite, aircon and comfy bed. But the owners are the real gems. Maria is so kind and hospitable, and her meals are plentiful and delicious. We spent a day on the beach, and she arranged fresh coconut drinks for us – no charge. Nuna Bungalow is a beautiful place, surrounded by nature that is well cared for and full of charm. You can see it’s relatively new and everything is kept in great condition. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very nicely decorated – a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring! We also want to share two personal tips for anyone visiting Riung. First: in the evening, go to Rico Rico. Even if it’s your first time, you’ll feel like you’ve known everyone forever. You can eat, have a beer and spend the night singing together with locals and travelers – a truly special experience! Second: we warmly recommend Aji as a driver and guide. We arranged our transfer from Riung to Bajawa with him even before arriving in Indonesia, through Nuna Bungalow. We had such a great time that we canceled our other transfers and traveled with him all the way to Labuan Bajo, making several wonderful stops. Aji is not only a careful and safe driver, but also a fantastic guide who will make sure you don’t miss any of Flores’ beauty, sharing stories and details about this amazing island. We even spent time together laughing and sharing Arak! If you need a driver or guide in Flores, ask the Nuna Bungalow staff about Aji! You won’t regret it.

Paul, his uncle and the rest of his family were so friendly, helpful and chatty. The accomodation is clean, nice veranda with a Beautiful small garden and they cook for you. The rest of the city is a bit damaged and it was nice to get everything in the guesthouse

I would recommend everyone to stay at Lonthar B&B. Lexi, the host, is super kind and helpful. The room was very clean, had a hot shower and wifi. We also had some great food and breakfast there!

It was all very clean, new, airconditioning! and the owners are so sweet!! Also, good breakfast with banana pancake and fruit. The owner helped me a lot by arranging the boat tour and drive to Bajawa. I was also able to rent his scooter. There is the cutest dog and chickens walking around. Just lovely !

We had a great stay here and would suggest this guest house to everyone! The host is great and the whole family is so nice and helpful, we enjoied our time a lot. The room is nice, clean and big enough. And the quest house is near the jetty and next to a nice restaurant. And the host will also help organizing the boat tour to the islands with captain alex who is amazing.

Sometimes it is the people who make a place truly special. At Bintang Wisata Riung we were warmly welcomed by the owners. They are not just friendly, they are genuinely kind and truly care about making you feel comfortable. One real highlight: the owner has his own boat and offers private tours to the 17 Islands. It was an experience we will not forget. Snorkelling at beautiful spots, crystal clear water, almost no other people, and flying foxes in the trees. Moments that really stay with you. The barbecue on a small island was simply fantastic. Fresh fish, plenty of food, and absolutely delicious. It was personal, relaxed, and far away from mass tourism. The accommodation was good, clean, and perfectly fine for our stay. The breakfast was rich and varied. Everything fit together perfectly and we felt completely at ease. If you are looking for more than just a place to stay in Riung and want real experiences, Bintang Wisata Riung is exactly the right choice. We can recommend this place from the heart.
