Really big beds and a nice bathroom. The hosts Mery and Abdy are such nice people. I did the volcano hike with Abdy and I think you will not find a better guide than him (and Blacky😉) in Berastagi. I booked my onward transporation through them and it worked perfectly.

As the name of the Homestay suggests, you can see 5 mountains from this place. Especially the view from the upstairs balcony was precious. We had dinner every evening and all the meals were excellent. The thing I appreciated the most was the availability of Andi. No request from us was too much for him. His friends were always around in the evening and also helped us a great deal with our questions. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

I like everything, the owner is friendly, helpful if needed. It's worth the price you pay, even though the room equipment is basic, but it's worth the price you pay clean and tidy rooms, not far from the city center and tourist areas.

With garden views, Para para cafe & cottage is situated in Berastagi and has a restaurant, room service, bar and garden. Mount Sinabung is 23 km from the lodge.

The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!

The friendliest, most welcoming hosts! We were given a welcome drink and a full explanation (and map) detailing all the best food places, attractions etc. Everyone who works there is so friendly and it felt like a home away from home! We were able to organise transport to Lake Toba with them as well as having an amazing guide, Ipoh, to take us to the volcano and hot springs. Honestly do the volcano tour if you stay here! It’s so well organised, our guide was really well informed and so friendly and even brought tea for us to enjoy with the sunrise! The rooms are pristine, it is probably the cleanest room we have stayed in during our 8 months of travelling. It smells so clean and the beds are really comfortable! It’s a great location within walking distance of everything you would need while staying there. We loved our stay here and we were honestly sad to leave!

I booked this homestay last minute and I couldn’t have found a more perfect place. The room is absolutely gorgeous with a picturesque few and a lot of space. The hot shower was an amazing surprise and since it can get quite cold in Berastagi much needed. The best thing about the homestay is the owner, she’s so friendly and invited me to meet her friends. It was lovely and I will recommend this place to everybody!
