As other reviewers have said , a very comfortable home stay in a beautiful location . comfortable beds , hot showers and a lovely view from all of the rooms . The hosts Monike and Geri are very responsive on what’s app and helped us make a night bus reservation from Makassar and arranged for us to be collected from the bus stop at 5am. Monike really is a wonderful cook , extremely generous meal sizes too! they put us in touch with a local guide who provided an excellent overview of Toraja in 2 days including a funeral ceremony . highly recommend

Definitely recommend ! James and Rian are very hospitality and caring, you will definitely feel like home. One of Must do list in Toraja will be catting with them, you can truly know new generation thoughts about their culture, quite inspiring ! And if you have any questions, they basically can give you resolutions and recommendations, so helpful ! BTW their English is high level, had good communication! Miss them already and their little cute son ❤️ The room is not luxury but very organic and clean !

Sanggalangi is a wonderful little home stay nestled away from the hustle of the busy street. It is clean, hot water is a plus with abundant quiet seating and eating places on the ground and first floors. Food is outstanding, healthy and plentiful! The home stay is run by a gorgeous team, especially Peso and his lovely wife. Peso is a font of knowledge on everything regarding Toraja culture. I learnt so much. We spent 3 perfect days at Riana homestay with our two daughters. The rooms are clean and confortable and the homestay is in a quiet area of Rantepao. The breakfast was delicious ! We have also spent 2 magic days visiting the Toraja country via the homestay guide service: Forget Ketekesu, you will visit much better places to see tongonan villages, forget he main roads, you will pass throught scenic little road full of bambou and palms forest ! The ceremony we participed joining the family meal was also great (it was much better than being parked with the other tourists into the tourist area)! Thank you Riana homestay
