An exceptional spot with an incredible view of Padang Bay. Lush vegetation, a superb swimming pool, and friendly visits from our monkey friends in the morning. The service and staff are truly top-notch. Special mention to Ria, who helped us get to the bank one evening when there were no taxis available. We left this place with only one desire: to return. I originally planned to stay at Secret Surf Camp for just two days but ended up extending to a whole week. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm, cozy environment that makes you feel like at home. The owners and the team working there are so kind and welcoming, adding extra bonus to the place. If you are looking for a relaxing escape with great vibes this is the perfect spot. Bayu and his wife were super friendly and greeted us like friends. The homestay was very nice but our highlight was the tour we booked with Bayu the following day. He is a great guide and showed us all the highlights of Padang. We had a great time. He also gave us great tips for the rest of our journey. It was the perfect start to our Sumatra trip! Even though the rooms are a bit basic the bed is comfortable and everything is clean. I liked the bottled water concept and the water fountain on each floor to refile . The whole hotel staff are doing an amazing job and are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge and offers a great selection. Dinner was also very good.
