This was an absolute gem of a find. We only stayed here for its convenience and proximity to the port but in hindsight we would have stayed longer if we had time. Such a lovely family who couldn’t do enough for us. The dinner was amazing and one of the best meals we’ve had in Indonesia. The room was clean and spacious. And the setting is great - tropical gardens in a quiet village. The sunset spot at the back of the property is awesome as well!

It was incredible how friendly and attentive the hosts where with us. They showed us around the whole village and where present everytime we needed something. Additionally, they made us feel like part of their family and really welcomed. The bungalow was in perfect condition and the breakfast included really yummy. We were going to stay only for 2 nights but ended up staying for more than 4 because of how much we liked it and we are definitely coming back. The perfect place for knowing lombok and its people. We can't express in words how good the stay was, we recommend everyone to experience it.

I liked most how Jeannie and Josh took care of us, attending to all the little details. They organized transportation for me from the airport to their place, welcomed me with dinner, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Staying at De Chicktoria was the closest I felt to truly experiencing Indonesian culture. Heri, the host, went above and beyond to ensure every guest's comfort and privacy. Indeed, he thoughtfully provided separate rooms whenever possible. Whenever I wanted to dive into the social side of hostel life, the common area was the perfect spot. I spent countless hours engaging in fascinating conversations with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and travelers. Normally I dont write reviews very often, but this time the lovely hosts deserve one. The hospitality they offered was outstanding, letting us lend their motorbike and helping us with everything, they were so nice! Also the place looks amazing and is really cozy, all built by the hosts themselves. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

The place is just amazing. It's new, it's clean and it's spacious. The owner and staff are very kind and will do everything they can to make sure you have a great time. Another great thing was the fully equipped kitchen, which is very rare to find on Lombok. 10/10!

We want to thank our hosts which made our one night stay in their house wonderful. We thought it would be a place to stay overnight but it turned out it was something more. The owners were so friendly and communicative. The place was so calm, surrounded by a beautiful garden, from which you can enjoy wonderful views. Absolutely amazing! Best stay you can wish for. The cottages are on a beautiful rice field with view of the nearby mountains. The mattress is really comfortable and the food is amazing! What makes staying here really amazing though is the host himself. Herman is such an amazing person who truly cares about his guests and does so much work for the community in his village. It was so nice talking with him about everything he does... Simply inspiring! Furthermore, he can drive you to the airport or wherever you need to go on the island and can give you island tours and show you around. Highly recommend staying there and having a good conversation with him. Simply unwind and enjoy this little piece of heaven!
