Highly recommend staying here with Teldy and his family! Located in a beautiful small village amongst the hills and rice fields. Everyone was so welcoming! We got invited for coffee with one of the neighbours and had a lovely chat with Teldy in the morning over breakfast. Teldy’s wife Relyn also runs a great Homestay in Labuan Bajo! We got invited again for coffee when we got back to Labuan Bajo even though they were fully booked and we couldn’t stay there. Super welcoming local family!!

We loved to stay there with our family of five. We were welcomed by a great family and had a most lovely walk both in the city but especially in the rice fields around the house. Mister Adi and his family are most helpful for organising the rest of the trip in Flores. You can truly believe their great advice. Last point. The dinner at home is just excellent. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bedroom and bathroom are nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was tasty. There is free coffee and tea. The family is nice and helpful. They negotiated a good price for us for transport to Bajawa. Thank you for the lovely time!

Lovely family owned property! The family is so sweet and helpful and will go above and beyond to help you. We only stayed one night, but they offered us their family bike to use for free and we also had food here for dinner. Big portion and good price. They gave us tea and some snacks on arrival. Breakfast was also filling and varied. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable- the best sleep we have had in Flores! They gave us an extra duvet as it can get cold in the night which was very thoughtful. There is a tiny shop across the road which you can get some snacks in. Highly recommend staying if you are in Ruteng.

We stayed two nights with Peter and his family and we miss it already! It was the best homestay we stayed at in Flores!! We felt soo welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was nice and Had everything we needed. We joined a wedding and a ceremony which was soo nice to experience! We also had a walk to the ricefields. We really enjoyed the area as its in a quiet area of ruteng. We can highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure. Thanks for everything:)

Very friendly couple who run the home stay, minimal English but we managed well through google translate. They were also very helpful in sorting out transport for us from Ruteng to Bajawa. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
