The accommodation highlight of my trip! I ended up staying a week, as these lovely people treated me like family. Nina and Faldi run a warm and friendly place with wonderful staff, food, a quiet location and so much to do in the area. They even cooked me a local Manggarai meal on my last night. For this price, a great hot shower, decent room, and breakfast included is better value than some more expensive places I've stayed in.Also, Febri is a very friendly and informative tour guide.Keep up the great work everyone 😊

I waited until the end of our trip to give my rating so I had a baseline for comparison. This place is very comfortable and the hosts are super nice people, with great English language skills. The breakfast and snacks they prepared were delicious and sumptuous.

If I could give a 15/10, I would! A perfect experience. From the cleanliness of this accommodation to the kindness of the staff and owners, our stay at Chacha was simply exceptional. Jeff is such a great host along with his family. The home is really nice and the room was very comfortable. Bathrooms are shared but are more than adequate and clean. Also, the showers have hot water. The house is located out of town a bit, but that is a benefit as it is quiet and you get really great views from the home and near the home. Also, Jeff can arrange transfers and whatnot if you need to get into town. The morning sunrise trekking was such a highlight. Jeff took great pics and also knows the best spots! The dinner in the evening was also a highlight as you get to meet and eat with the other guests and discuss travel plans and feels very much like a community. The food was delicious. As a sidenote, if you are there, try to find out if there is a Caci Celebration happening at the same time. They don't happen very often, but if you are there at the same time as well, make sure to go see it if you can. I was lucky to go see one while i was there and was probably one of the best parts of my trip. Additionally, if you want to arrange a bigger tour (seeing Tado village or Spiderweb Rice Fields), talk to Jeff about arranging that for an additional reasonable cost. I would gladly come back here and hope to come back here in the future.

We were the first guests at this accommodation, and Peter and his whole family treated us wonderfully. They made everything easy for us and were very attentive. There are still a couple of small details to finish, but the stay is pleasant and it has everything you need. It’s a pity we couldn’t go see the sunrise from their rice terrace.

Petronella, Alexander and Abel were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us into their home in such a cheerful and friendly way. They helped us renting a scooter and also with a phone call when we needed it. Petronella is also a wonderful chef and we enjoyed her simple and genuine cooking very much. The accommodation is very clean and simple but has everything you might need and the bed was really comfortable. The shower has hot water and that's a plus because in the evening the air is quite fresh. We can only recommend Skipper house!

    Beautiful family who speak English really well, they’re super welcoming and helpful. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds, hot showers and a yummy breakfast included. Off street parking for motorbike too which is nice. Stayed twice as we loved it there so much, would recommend to anyone!

    Everything was awesome. The homestay was easily accessible by motorbike and parking space was available. The view was great and the room and bathroom were clean (hot water was just made available!). But the best thing about the homestay was the atmosphere. Jeff was very kind and helpful and just made everyone visiting there feel like family for a bit. I stayed longer than planned but was still sad to leave.
