All the rooms were en suite. The lounge was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washing machine and tumble drier was really useful after our days out. The setting was beautiful.

Anne was an exceptional host, so friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. She even gave us a ride to the nearby pubs and bus stop! The breakfast was amazing, you'd easily be paying 15-20 euro for it elsewhere. Nothing was too much to ask. The rooms were comfortable and very clean with lovely decor. The area is beautiful and close to the bus stops that serve the island well in either direction, Lynotts luv just down the road is great. A lovely homely place that I will be recommending to everyone!

From the very first morning, when we enjoyed breakfast while gazing out across the sparkling sea, this place felt like pure perfection. Every corner of the house reflects a true love for detail — nothing was overlooked. The kitchen was stocked not only with the essentials, but also with those thoughtful extras you never pack in a suitcase: cooking oil, spices, utensils, even a sturdy pan for homemade meals. The furnishings were stylish and of high quality, far beyond the typical “holiday rental” standard. The location is simply ideal: just a short stroll to a beautiful beach, with several wonderful restaurants nearby. For day trips, Achill Island and its breathtaking surroundings offer more than enough to explore. Our 4-year-old daughter also felt instantly at home. The fully enclosed garden gave her the freedom to play safely and happily, which made our stay all the more relaxing. In short: a flawless stay, in a home that combines comfort, elegance, and charm. We could not have asked for more — a wholehearted 10/10.

Alex was very friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and it felt like we were staying with family. The breakfast was filling and delicious and the property was quiet and within close distance from many of the locations we wanted to visit. WiFi didn't work in the sleeping room but did in the sitting area. This was not an issue, since the trip was about seeing the sites and we only needed WiFi to confirm other bookings.

    Loved the location, beautiful walks all around. The kitchen and dining areas were beautiful and so much nicer than we would expect at a hostel. Plenty of parking and the staff went over and beyond to ensure we had a great stay ☺️

    The driveway needs maintenance, the parking area is abismal, Its as if they are trying to sell authentic over plain too miserable to improve facilities. The place has no insulation and is Baltic. One really feels the theme is do absolutely nothing with facilities till they fall to maximise every euro from facility as it crumbles.

    It is the best value in the country 👌 I couldn't have asked for more..spotlessly clean extremley comfortable and there was parking..a lovely sitting room and kitchen..very cosy bed and I could have put on a fire but didn't need to..host was very friendly and not at all intrusive..solo travellers will feel very safe here..and Achill is such a magical place in any weather 😀
