Very comfortable rooms up a steep stairs. Free parking. Complimentary treats upon arrival. Excellent breakfast choices. Delicious. Friendly staff.

Very comfortable beds and sitting room area, smart TV, apartment was very nicely decorated throughout, nice large shower and good kitchen area. Great location within Athenry with free parking and a lot of additional services eg restaurant, pizzeria, cafe all as part of the Lodge At the Old Barracks. We got breakfast one of the mornings from the Restaurant which was very tasty.

Excellent lodge. We were given a lovely, cozy and spacious room with three windows overlooking the main street (but quiet and silent). At our arrival we found some delicious sweets in the room, jointly with a keetle and spring water. Everything was very clean. There was free parking for guests (otherwise there are metters in the streets). Breakfast was a la carte in nearby restaurant.

The pool is significant, and not so hot as the employee leaves the door open even in the middle of a storm. The dirty pool and open to the public.
The mattress is good.
The room is pleasantly sized with a bathtub but no minibar or air conditioning.
Free car parking but few spaces.
Fast check-in and check-out.

Wanted a spot near Shannon airport to make for an easy travel day (50 minutes by car). Rooms are small but lots of storage. Facility has a nice outdoor space for drinks or food that is private but there is smoking allowed there so you never know what you'll get. Their parking lot is also enclosed in that spot so easy to get to. There are not a lot of restaurants in Athenry and the food served here was really quite good and that's a top option for you. Breakfast was very good and included.

- Good location in a small town, very close to Galway.
- Free bottles of water, and a welcome snack upon arrival.
- Beds were comfortable, and duvet were warm.
- Although narrow to enter, free parking available for guests.
- Breakfast included in the price (1 dish and 1 drink to choose from several options, including vegetarian ones).
- "Do not disturb" sign available.
- Water boiler, coffee and tea available for guests.

rooms spotless cosy and the little treats on arrival lovely touch!! breakfast across the road was one of the best we have had in a long time, so fresh and delicious! coffee shop and pizzeria under the rooms we went to the coffee shop and it was so nice home made desserts all looked amazing! but will definitely be back to go to the pizzeria! also off street parking is provided which is a big plus!
