Great location within Athenry with free parking and a lot of additional services eg restaurant, pizzeria, cafe all as part of the Lodge At the Old Barracks. We were given a lovely, cozy and spacious room with three windows overlooking the main street (but quiet and silent). At our arrival we found some delicious sweets in the room, jointly with a keetle and spring water. Everything was very clean. The dirty pool and open to the public. The mattress is good. The room is pleasantly sized with a bathtub but no minibar or air conditioning. Free car parking but few spaces. Rooms are small but lots of storage. Facility has a nice outdoor space for drinks or food that is private but there is smoking allowed there so you never know what you'll get. Their parking lot is also enclosed in that spot so easy to get to. There are not a lot of restaurants in Athenry and the food served here was really quite good and that's a top option for you.
