Afsal and Pradul are charming and attentive hosts - they really looked after us and made our stay so happy. The coffee and breakfast options are delicious and made to order with love. The room is spacious and clean and the roof terrace is a beautiful space to hang out or do yoga with Sophie. I can’t recommend it more highly. We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 6!

I really enjoyed my stay in this nice homestay. It is quietly located, overlooking a coffee plantation from my balcony, but everything within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean, cozy and spacious and my host a very lovely and friendly woman. Right next door her nice sister runs a restaurant where you can eat very well. I just can recommend this wonderful place.

Coffee and Pepper is beyond expectations. The reviews are all spot on. It’s certainly not a 5 star hotel, but it is a 10 star Boutique Homestay. The property is stunning and the home cooked meals are superb. George is the perfect host. He goes out of his way to help guests get bookings for the Periyar Tiger Reserve’s activities (difficult even for non foreigners to do). Super comfortable and top drawer accommodation. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The room was very spacious and clean, the bed is massive. Its very new and modern. The bathroom was the best one we had during the whole trip. Girish and Sunila are such nice people. They were so helpful. Girish helped us organise our trip to the National Park and advised on onward travel. He even followed up to see if we got there alright. Sunila cooked very tasty breakfasts and served them in their own home. - something different every day, always traditional Kerala food. The location is in a quiet residential area, a bit away from the main roads. The bus station and main road is only a 10 minute walk away. Places to eat and shop are plentiful and close by.

The place is remarkable. The views are incredible. The room is simply beautiful . The food in the restaurant is superb, and the staff are so nice that there are not enough words to describe them. We must recommend Prakash from the reception and Ram, one of the best Sheff in the world that was doing everything he could to cook for us amazing food and not spicy. If we come again to amazing cerala we'll definitely come again to this hotel. Thanks a lot for a wonderful time. Most recommended.

Just an amazing homestay. We only stayed for 2 nights but should've been more as our 1 breakfast that we enjoyed was so we'll taken care of! We didn't get to enjoy dinner with them (met other people who we went for dinner) but from other guests it was as delicious and all homemade! They are a super friendly family as well.
