Zostel Pahalgām is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at—not just for the place itself, but also for the amazing people, delicious food, ideal location, and overall vibe. It felt like home from the moment I arrived. I had only planned to stay for a night, but I ended up extending my stay because it was so wonderful. As a solo traveler, I’ve had my share of not-so-great experiences, but this was the exact opposite. Bashrat and Monika were the sweetest hosts you could ask for. Khursheed bhai, Faizan bhai, and everyone else were always there to help with anything I needed. And Danish bhai’s food? Incredible—he makes the best poha! I also got to meet some amazing people and build great connections. The view from the hostel is stunning, too. Everything about this place was just perfect!

Hats off to the chef, tasted some really amazing food. F&B is superb! - Staff and hospitality: they are super polite and helpful - Extras: they provide option of bonfire and hookah on request with music in the evenings. Allows liquor to be brought from outside - Location: right next to the river and rafting point (in summers)

Even if it is a bit difficult to reach it due to the bad roads for the last fee meters it is totally worthy. The location is up on the mountain surrounded by mountains and a picturesque landscape. The roam is very nice in traditional light colours feels comfy.
