We had a wonderful stay in Vaikom! The flat was excellent, spacious, super clean and very comfortable. The house itself is very nicely located nearby the water, one has a very nice view from the balcony. The hosts are very friendly, warm and extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!

The homestay is nestled in a serene and lush green setting, perfect for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged with traditional touches that reflect the essence of Kerala. A special mention must go to Surendran, Rathi, and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly courteous and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging local experiences, serving delicious homemade meals, or simply engaging in warm conversation, they made every moment memorable. It is a quiet, unique, and really pleasant destination. The host is truly friendly and helpful. We ask for some indications, a boat trip in Backwater canals and lakes, help to organize a trip to Thekkady in the mountains etc. All of it was easy and comfortable because of our host assistance. The local food served at breakfast and dinners was really tasty and safe. We have chosen it instead of the British like breakfasts and it was a good choice. Thanks a lot! The waters around are salt cause it is ocean backwater and because of that there were no moscitos, no flies, it was a nice surprise as well. It is far enough from town and main roads to be quiet and close enough to go to Kochin or a beach by scooter. The nearby Pallithode beach is empty, no tourists at all, just fishermen in a long distance... And boats, sand, and palms...
