Small little town just outside Reykjavik. It is only a 10 min drive into the main city so you are close enough to go there with a car anyway. Slightly closer to the airport is also an advantage if you are concerned about flight times. The room was great and facilities all comfortable. There is also the football stadium (FH) just around the corner - we went to a game there and would recommend if the fixture aligns with your plans.

Great 2-night stay. I wish I could stay longer! Modern, warm, clean and cosy. Fully supplied kitchen, comfy bed, smart TV, welcoming host. Pleanty of space to park your car. Great location and surrondings. Only 8 minutes away by car to a little forest with pond - had a such a great and peaceful walk over there. 30 minutes to Reykjavik and 30 minutes to Keflavik airport. Would definitely come back. Thanks!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, every one of them from reception, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and the cleaning staff all went that extra mile to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is very warm and cosy and provided free coffee and cakes at reception throughout the day. It was -13 when we were there and Iceland was covered with snow.. The room was cosy open plan and had a kitchen island so we had fresh wster and coffee making facilities. At the back of Kvosin Downtown Hotel we got the best photographs of the Northern Lights. It is very central, everything was in walking distance fron the Ice bar, the Rainbow street, restaurants cafes and shops, most tour bus stop were within 2 minutes from the hotel.

    The decoration of the hotel and the whole Viking idea is exceptional.it won’t disappoint you! The breakfast was perfect,it had everything you can ask for. The location is very convenient,just a few kilometres away from Reykjavik. Free parking,free sauna and hot tub. The staff was really helpful,polite and friendly.

    Upgraded to 4 beds room with sofa and so much space. Love the clean white towels. Kettle in room and tea coffee sugar and creamer provided. Love the Free parking and good breakfast spread included. About half hour to airport and just nice for us to catch our next flight.

    Great place to stay before our flight home. about 30 mins from the airport but near enough to Reykjavik to explore. nice room and good breakfast . ample car parking. there is a nature walk from the hotel which was really nice
