Loved that we got to stay in a home. It felt warm and beautiful. We loved the room. We also spent some time in the hot tub on day 1 and got the most magical view of the Auroras. The house has a stellar view of a lake and mountains.

Fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies (salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee), comfy bed and very good heating for winter times. Amazing whirlpool, perfect for relaxing and warming up after a cold day. :) Excellent value for money and super nice host!

Superbly equipped apartment with good cooking facilities. Manual for the facilities and equipment was sent via message. Heated flooring in the washroom was very welcome. Very very near the city centre- 5 min walk down the street. Easy check in with clear instructions from host who is also responsive to all queries. Great view. We chanced upon the Aurora from the window too.

Loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. We've stayed in lots of places whilst we've been in Iceland and this is one of our favourites. Great location, just a short walk to the town. Beautiful apartment with all the facilities we could need, including kitchen facilities and a dining area. Oh and the shower is AMAZING!! Great communication with friendly hosts. Would recommend to our friends and family.

    The owner of the guesthouse is super attentive to the details! Everything is wisely organized and comfortable enough. And the best thing is, that we managed to see whales from the parking slot! Unbelievable 😍

    Very good place close to Akureyri (about 20 km). There are plenty of markets along the way to stock up on provisions. Rooms in different styles - we had London. The kitchen is very well equiped, but quite small. The bathroom is shared, but large and very well stocked. Parking on the premises.

    Very nice and enthusiastic owner. Great facilities (hot tub, big bathroom,...). Spotless clean. Nicely decorated! A big private parking lot. Short drive from/to Akureyri.
