This is a exceptional place away from the main traveling road. you can view wildlife directly through the kitchen window. We also got a tour from the host to see the new born sheep. The sea view is beautiful.

Highly recommended The apartment is very well organized, even for 4 people. Comfortable sofa bed and a nice curtain that separates it from the living room. High technology... large TV Oven and microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, along with all necessary products for their use. Sea view and delightful location. The Hotel Manager was very professional and super nice! We felt welcome at the very first second, we got a nice room with view of the sea. The beds were very comfortable and the room had all you needed even do it was a little small. The breaksfast was also very nice and the staff there very kind, they had waffles which is always a plus! We would stay here again if we come to Patreksfjördur!!!

Easy to find and right opposite the bay. Lots of parking. Good breakfast. Had a meal one night which was great and nice waiters. Good welcome at reception. A bakery just around the corner which sold rolls and provisions and pieces of pizza too. Most people visited the bird cliffs I expect judging from all the dusty cars. Worth the drive there and last day we visited the famous inland waterfalls at Dynjandi………which were amazing and loos there. Only signposted 2hen nearly there but you get an awesome view of interior and #nowline. Really good.

We spent three lovely nights with our kids in Jonas' guesthouse. We booked two rooms, they were located in the upper floor. Jonas is an amazing host and he is soon starting to renovate and stock up the guesthouse so I can imagine it will be even better once all work is completed :). Jonas made sure all guests are happy and communication was easy and nice. Our kids loved it so much, they didn't want to go home anymore. The common area was nice with the TV (in room TV didn't work for some reason) and the couch and the boardgames, we appreciated these things when we spent almost all day there on a very windy and rainy day. There's a terrace with a BBQ and a small kitchen that guests can use and it even has a fridge if you bring some own food to prepare or store. The view is super lovely and the location is perfect, parking just outside the guesthouse. We will definitely come again, maybe already next Summer :). We are looking forward to come again.

The host is very laid back and is very kind and lovely. Everyone working there is wonderful. We had our dinner there and the mushroom soup, the cod and the blueberry skyr dessert were excellent. The waiter even held our baby for a while so we could have some quiet time during the meal. The breakfast was perfect with different bread options and lovely spreads and cheese + cold cuts. We highly recommend this hotel.
