The place was awesome at every level: comfortable, warm, clean, organised. The views were incredible and there were ample options to enjoy the icelandic countryside. With all that being said, the real magic was feeling Ragnheiður's love for her horses and amazing dog. I had the priviledge of brushing two sweet horses and I had no idea how relaxing it was. I would definitely go back. In fact, it was a huge mistake to only stay for one night. As far as location goes, it's very conveniently located to get to Reykjavik in half an hour (give or take) or the Snaelfesness peninsula. But don't make the same mistake I did: stay for more than one day and enjoy all of the magic of the place and the energy that you can almost touch, the love for the animals and the icelandic countryside. Missing it since I drove away!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, every one of them from reception, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and the cleaning staff all went that extra mile to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is very warm and cosy and provided free coffee and cakes at reception throughout the day. It was -13 when we were there and Iceland was covered with snow.. The room was cosy open plan and had a kitchen island so we had fresh wster and coffee making facilities. At the back of Kvosin Downtown Hotel we got the best photographs of the Northern Lights. It is very central, everything was in walking distance fron the Ice bar, the Rainbow street, restaurants cafes and shops, most tour bus stop were within 2 minutes from the hotel.

The apartment was easy to find and there was free parking in front. The rooms were clean and there were all the amenities needed for our stay. There is a Bonus right around the corner, which made shopping for food easier. The host was wonderful, we wanted to watch some local TV station and in 5 minutes he was there to show them to us. Perfect location to go on a walk to the city, but also to for going on adventures outside of Reykjavik.

1. It was super clean! 2. Owner was very responsive on Booking.com and the instruments on how to enter the building and apartment was well explained 3. Comfy mattresses: I was not well on the first night so was very grateful for a good night’s rest 4. Newly renovated/ built 5. Parking is right by the building entrance! 6. The apartment is bright and spacious, really well kept and new structure. It's perfect for a stay in Reykjavik if you are also planning to have a car and move around. It's super easy to find a parking spot nearby. Position is great, just take in consideration 10 minutes walk to the main "central street". The host was extremely available and nice and always responsive when we had questions.
