Villa Maria is an exceptional resort in a remote area. The owner, Pasquale, has crafted an amazing resort after years of work. If you're in the Belvedere-Spinello area, it's a must stay. They have a georgeous, renovated villa with that quintessential, Italian country village charm and understated elegance. The resort has an exeptional restaurant, not to be missed. We had the best Bistecca Fiorentina we've ever had, including years ago in Firenze. They have a wonderful wine list as well. They have a lovely pool and breakfast was included. Francesco, it the manger of the restaurant and also performs many other duties. He welcomed us, checked us in, was extremely acccomodating and kind. He runs a tight ship. This was a dining experience under the stars with linen table cloths and twinkle lights, accompanied by wonderful music. The view over the valley floor is exeptional. You will be in heaven. Maria , the resort's namesake was wonderful We made friends which we will value forever. When we return to Calabria will will definitely stay there again for an extended stay. La Dolce Vita!

Everything was as advertised with free parking next door and a bakery with excellent coffee and breakfast on the ground floor. Thanks to the high altitude no air conditioning is needed. Still, the room had a small humidifier.

We liked the warm welcome and the helpful service of Alessandro. The bfast was abundant and amazing. Gluten free and lactose food was available down to deserts. We dined at Agriturizmo Carrazzino everyday because we were happy with freshly made food. The views are spectacular and the walks are infinite. This is an experience immersed in nature, surrounded by villages and close to the sea. The agriturismo of Alessandro is true and real in every detail.

Hotel Palaghiaccio has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Torre Caprara. This 3-star hotel offers ski-to-door access and an ATM.

Alessandro & his staff were exceptional, particularly Kareem who looked after us throughout. Location good, many sporting activities on the doorstep.

The breakfast service was excellent. It would have been nice to have freshly baked cornetti. Everything else was fantastic.

Beautiful countryside location with a view towards Santa Severina's castle and town on a hill nearby. Rooms basic but comfortable. Facilities dated but functional. Didn't use the pool so can't comment. Breakfast very typically Italian, coffee, cake, juice and yoghurt. Staff were very good to us. We had a very simple but nice lunch there.
