The accommodation was in a beautiful environment with modern equipment. However, what we liked the most was the attitude of the host. VillaVita is a family guesthouse and you can feel the family atmosphere everywhere. The people who work here accommodated us in everything, they were willing, kind, accommodating. Simply something wonderful. The breakfast selection was excellent, but if you had a request - for example eggs, a different coffee or a request for lemon water, they went into the kitchen and prepared it - really like home, it was wonderful. There were towels, shower gel and shampoos in the room. A mini fridge was also available. We recommend 10/10 and we hope to come back sometime. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience staying at the b&b of Ida and Pietro, if we are ever back in amalfi we know where we are staying. When reviewing a hotel I consider that the priority is: a good bed, a good bathroom, and a good location. This place has that and more. The bedsheets are confortable and soft. The bathroom is brand new, decorated with hand made ceramics from the amalfi coast and the shower is like one of a spa, those that you don’t want to get out. The location is above amalfi, in the middle of the coast with easy driving distances to amalfi, positano, minori, maiori, sorrento, salerno…. And you can even go to pompeii and napoli because there are one hour distance. Additionally, you have the own town of pianillo and agerola, two amazing towns full of great restaurants and stores where you can really immerse in the italian way of living. One more thing, if you like hiking “the path of the gods” is just a few minutes away. The only thing that you need to be aware IN ALL THE AMALFI COAST, is that try to get the smallest car because the roads are narrow and have a lot of turns. I highly recommend to stay at this place and I wish that everyone can visit at least once the place that Ida and Pietro created. One more thing, when I rented this place I saw that it came with breakfast. However I never imagined how incredible it was going to be. Ida and Pietro put all their love and passion so well can really taste the italian food. The breakfast was homemade and locally sourced, it is one of those things that you rarely find. I can’t describe it, you have to taste it because it was “mamma mia, buonissimo!!””

I would highly this hotel and would definitely stay again. We stayed 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer . It is a small luxurious hotel with a friendly and welcoming ethos . We were 3 couples and all very pleased with our rooms . The reception area and bedrooms were modern, bright and spotlessly clean . The bedroom had a king size bed with comfy pillows and luxurious sheets . Bath robes, slippers , toiletries, complimentary water , coffee / tea maker all provided . Delicious choice of Breakfast served in your room where there are great views of the sea and port area . There is an honesty bar where guests can help them selves to drinks , coffee etc and just sign for anything they used . The location of the property is fantastic . 3 min walk to the ferry and buses and 2 min walk to the old town . Fabulous location for basing yourself to tour the Amalfi coast .
