We booked this accommodation at short notice, we arrived in a thunderstorm with touring bikes. booking.com had screwed up where we were supposed to be staying and did the same thing here. Thankfully the host was absolutely brilliant. He opened up extra facilities for us that fully met our requirements. He let us store our bikes securely and he is a genuinely nice, humerous friendly person. In the morning he made sure that our bikes were readily available for us and wished us well for our onward journey. Things could have gone much worse, thanks to the poor systems of booking.com, thankfully there are nice, helpful people, like our host, who seem happy to help.

After a 5 few days in an agriturismo in Tuscany, we switched to a hotel feel. We had a very comfortable stay at fonte living. Nice attention to detail and luxury during our stay. We were upgraded to an apartment by our amazing host Micheale which had amazing views and a nice seating area on the balcony where you can have your morning coffee that you can make for yourself using the provided coffee machine in the kitchen. Well laid out, Super comfortable bed and spacious apartment with separate areas (Dining, Study, Fully fitted kitchen). Fonte living is located in a small town of San Casciano dei Bagni, which is known for its quaint and quiet feel. There is only a couple of restaurants. So there is not much around. However do not be surprised if you see a celebrity or two known to frequent the famous restaurant (Restaurant Daniela).

This is a magical place, led by wonderful owners who make you feel like you are extended family coming to stay at their house. The hospitality is faultless and everything has been well thought out. The attention to detail is evident and owner Guilia could not have been more accommodating! From helping us plan our trip to assisting with bookings when our Italian failed us, we could not be more grateful. We also had the privilege of dining there for one of the weekend dinners they offer- a true and authentic nod to traditional Tuscan cooking. Everything was to a very high standard and it showed! Thank you again, we will be returning soon!
