This place is perfect. We had a 3 night stay and got an upgrade in one of the honeymoon suites with view on the swimming pool and ocean. It’s the antithesis of Diani beach; really quite, nice and beachboys are swapped by friendly local fishermen. The food is the best we had in Kenya; in the morning you make a little walk on the beach and you buy a fish of your choice by the fishermen. They bring it to cook Amadi and he makes the most amazing dish of it. If you want you can make a day trip with a local villager to a starfish place, the Africa pool (natural pool in the sea) or a local school. we really enjoyed it! Also a day trip to Diani Beach is possible. The hotel will help to arrange transport. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the room cleaners did a really good job every day. Our stay couldn’t be more perfect.

I like this place . It is about ten minutes away from the beach and very close to the African swimming pool. I stayed here for four nights and I was the only guest. It was very quiet. The swimming pool is very good and I like it very much.

The position of the hotel is ideal. Only 20mtrs away from the beach, make it perfect choice for relax and enjoy holidays. Center of village is 15mins walking distance. All rooms are spacious and clean and the majority of them have ocean view. breakfast is always fresh and hand made under your personal request. Staff is always smiley and helpful. The restaurant has many choices and covers also a vegetarian. Totally recommend this hotel.

Tombo House is a super lovely eco resort! Honestly, it is one of the best place have stayed so far. The atmosphere is totally relaxed. You are really detached from the outer world and can enjoy staying at the natural pool surrounded by palms and trees. The breakfast was amazing. They had fresh fruits, very good coffee, homemade bread and even soy milk. The apartment was super clean, spacious and had a very pleasant design.

It's not luxury hotel, but it's difficult to expect more in this price. Stuff is very nice and really helpful, they take care of everything. Location is just great - maybe 50 m from the beach (nice part of it), there's supermarket at the end of the street and nice restaurants (Kokkos, Asha Bistro, Apero) are around so you won't be harassed by tuk-tuk drives too much. Property itself is nice, quite and secure. The house had everything we needed and even more - equipped kitchen, TV, AC, water dispenser, etc. The house was cleaned every second day, towels and linen were changed. And every day we got huge and tasty African breakfast which we could enjoy on the terrace (you just have to watch out for monkeys).

The best boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in the world, the best restaurant in Africa I’ve visited, and the best service my wife and I have received. We had an amazing stay at Zarafa house. The house is perfectly clean, furnished with good taste and super well entertained. It is very calm and has a chill relaxing vibe. It is not too far from Diani beach (10 mins walk with a nice path in the bushes) and close to all the restaurants by tuck tuck (very cheap and available all the time). Plenty of details make this place stand out (towels always available for the swimming pool, nice shampoo, water fountain…). Ann is such a great host and her staff is lovely. She was always ready to give good advice and super helpful at anytime. To make it even more perfect she prepares delicious breakfast, fresh and different every day. It is also possible to organise yoga classes! I highly recommend this beautiful place!!
