Comfortable and clean guesthouse in a beautiful area. The host was incredibly kind and prepared both a delicious vegetarian dinner and breakfast for us. Would 100% recommend!

We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. Clean, comfortable, quiet location in a family home with friendly hosts - Gibek and Askar. We stayed a total of 5 days and found them both to be accommodating and very helpful throughout that time. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Karakol.

Attractive traditional yurt very comfortable and authentic. The facilities were well-maintained, with hot water and clean bathrooms. The family was extremely nice and we felt like home. We had great food for dinner and breakfast. Good conversation an excellent kyrgyz vodka. With the idea that the yurt is not a hotel, the stay was wonderful. I wish family staff much encouragement to carry forward their establishment. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very new, clean and well decorated. There is a shared kitchen and dining area that you can use and the filtered water is available. The breakfast was very nice and freshly made. The location of the hotel is very close to the Karakol city center and there is parking available. The owners were extremely nice and helped us with everything that we needed.

Perfect apartment with everything that is top class. Spotlessly clean and best location. Very helpful and responsive host. We had a wonderful time. If we ever come back we would definitely stay here.

Probably one of the best place I’ve ever stayed !! I mean everything was perfect. They are very helpful, provide a lot of services, give a lot of good advices, you can rent gear, it is very clean, you can cook, and make a lot of friends! And there is a sauna! it was really perfect and I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Karakol! Just be careful if you like to play chess : the two daughters and the dad play very well !!😝

Great hostel with friendly easy going people. Wish I had more time to stay longer

Great location to stay. Close to two major supermarkets and the main restaurants area. Has probably the best view over the nearby Арык мырза park in the city. Has a washing machine which is really helpful. Plenty of parking behind the building.
