We were traveling around Issyk-Kul Lake with our three young children, searching for a quiet and beautiful place to stay. When I came across Taberik, I was initially hesitant — the place had no reviews, and traveling with kids, comfort is our top priority. But the location looked so stunning that I decided to take a chance. And I’m so glad I did — Taberik exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly greeted by Meyrambek, the owner, who welcomed us with tea and cookies and shared that they had just opened for their very first season. The entire place is brand new and built with great attention to detail. The setting is breathtaking: nestled at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by untouched nature, with yurts and cozy cabins scattered across the land. The cabins have heating, hot water, and high-speed internet via Starlink, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. The interiors are thoughtfully designed — wooden furniture, natural materials, spotless cleanliness, and a cozy atmosphere. You can immediately feel that a lot of care, resources, and investment went into creating this place. We passed by several other guesthouses along the way, and honestly, none of them came close to Taberik. It’s truly a different level of comfort and beauty. There’s also a stunning waterfall nearby, adding to the magic of the place. This location touched my heart so deeply that I couldn’t resist writing this review — and I don’t do that often. Attractive traditional yurt very comfortable and authentic. The facilities were well-maintained, with hot water and clean bathrooms. The family was extremely nice and we felt like home. We had great food for dinner and breakfast. Good conversation an excellent kyrgyz vodka. With the idea that the yurt is not a hotel, the stay was wonderful. I wish family staff much encouragement to carry forward their establishment. Highly recommended!

A great place – very clean, with everything you really need: kitchen, fridge, shower, washing machine, and dryer. The staff is extremely helpful and ready to answer any questions. Even though it’s a hostel, it’s calm and perfect for rest, even when it’s fully booked. Everything is well thought out.

Comfortable beds. Room, bathroom, toilet, common area, kitchen are clean. Location is too close to both center and public bus stations. Most important thing, staff speak english very well. And they are kindly and helpful. My foot ankle was twisted during trekking and I needed a doctor. I was worrying about comminication because of language. They came with me to translate between me and doctor. Thank you very much fot this help. I stayed 10 days, and I felt like I am home.
