Beautiful house, super friendly and helpful host

A beautiful location. It´s a very old charming house in a small village. It´s like history came alive. The owners are super friendly and flexible. I have travelled a lot and this was one of the nicer places I´ve ever been.

We travelled in early September and the spa facilities were not available. We didn’t really want to use them but if you did they were not available. The bed was only a double but it was comfortable. We had a bigger room but need to carried bags upstairs. Very quiet setting when we visited. Hot shower.

The location is in a quiet, beautiful, rural valley within walking distance to Sobaeksan trails. There's a bus stop nearby but please note that buses are very infrequent (once every two hours). This is a great location if you have a car, or are good at timing with the buses, or don't mind calling a taxi and waiting for it to arrive. There's a literal stream on the property too. The home and the area are absolutely gorgeous. We didn't have a car, and the owner reminded us to bring food since there are no stores within walking distance of the house. He also picked us up from the bus station! We hiked up the mountain and he checked in with us to make sure we made it back safely after it got dark because he was getting worried about us. Absolutely lovely hosts and a perfect home.
