Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful and made for such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, I felt at home right away. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the ancient city, which made exploring easy and enjoyable. Ideal for a peaceful solo retreat!

The reason to come here is that front porch. The rest of the cabin is small but functional. Give yourself a few hours to stay there and watch the animals of the lake. We were braced for clouds of insects, but there weren't many, maybe we got lucky. We also went for the morning lake tour which was fantastic. Excellent breakfast as well. The host was really helpful and easy to get ahold of.

Everything was just perfect! Staff: The staff members were truly wonderful: kind, helpful, and thoughtful at every step. They made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. Cleanliness: Top hygiene! The entire room was spotless: from the walls and floors to the cupboards, bed, bathroom, and toilet. Everything looked and smelled freshly cleaned and well-maintained. Comfort: There was running hot water at all times, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool, even during the hotter parts of the day. Safety & Atmosphere: As a solo traveler, I felt safe and at home here. The warm environment and respectful staff really made a difference. Overall: An excellent experience. Clean, comfortable, and supported by genuinely kind staff. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Their restaurant serves amazing dishes! And staff really pays attention to your likes and dislikes.

We just spent one night, but agreed we could have stayed longer. The hotel was very calm and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Everything was very clean and neat. The room we had next to the pool was very nice, and offered a nice little terace to relax on. We did not get a chance to jump in the pool, but it looked very good and the area arround it cozy with sunbeds and hammocks. The best about the place was definately the staff. Amazing service level and just so very, very nice people. If we are ever around in Polonnaruwa, we are returning here.

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. This place is such a gem, we loved staying here and it made the rainy season really enjoyable. Sandy and her husband go out of their way to make sure we are very happy. We ate at the property and the food was exceptional; very tasty, fresh and healthy. The room is gorgeous, spacious, very comfortable and super clean! We loved their garden and the place is a tranquil oasis, just a short drive away from the cultural sights and safaris.
