Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

Just had a wonderful two night stay in this beautifully kept hotel, set in woodland allowing wildlife-watching from the balcony. . The room was immaculately clean, light, airy and well presented. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in making our stay comfortable and our onward journey seamless. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were beautifully presented and excellent value.. We hired bikes (organised by the hotel) which were great for getting to and around the ancient city. Highly recommend a stay at Wildesacpe.

Sanka is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful! And his wife is a great cook! Lovely breakfasts and dinners. The cabin is marvelously located overlooking the lake and the terrace is an absolute highlight, so nice to hang out. The cabin itself is small and basic, but with everything you need! Even coffee and tea facilities :-) We had a great time and enjoyed every minute.

The owner is very helpful and came to collect me with his tuk tuk for free. The place is very quite in the middle of nature, just 300m away from the Gal Vihara with its energetic presence. The owner offered me an half hour night walk which we couldn't do bc of the rain. Bicycles can be rent on place and I loved to cycle downtown along this beautiful road along the river. Room is big, high ceiling with fresh air. Not hot, very clean also the bathroom. Furniture is in good condition. Warm water works, mosquito net ok. WiFi broke when I was there because of the thunder, but the owner went to buy me recharge cards for my mobile data. Nice garden.

Well, the room was fantastic with a back door to the lawn facing the lake and also table for lunch with unobstructed views of the lake. very friendly and very helpful staff. Nothing to complain about and they go out of their way to accomodate you.

We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. New Haven Polonnaruwa has been, by far, the best guesthouse I've been in my whole trip. The place is brand new, extremely comfortable and clean. It is also decorated with good taste. The exterior area, still under construction, is spaceous, and has a lot of possibilities. It has a traditional kitchen built in clay, and an area to have breakfast/lunch/dinner very cozy and nice. Congratulations to the chef! Food is so good! The owner, Iran, puts a lot of love on the project. Also he has shown me his amazing paddy field, we've collected coconuts together and do not worry if the place doesn't have a swimming pool (yet), because he took me to a canal for a nice swim very near from the place.
