Property is awesome and helpful staff room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty come together with fresh fruits. Dinner also Excellent. The villa silence at night and i have peaceful sleep. Beautiful and grennery garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. A large bedroom with AC a good bathroom. Kitchen. Dining room. Blacony. They also have 2 bikes free of charge. You have 2 minutes to the supermarket 7 minutes waliking to the Talalla Beach. Feels just like home super comfortable! Absolutely recommended

These are the nicest people in Sri Lanka. They go above and beyond for you, always going that little extra mile for no reason other than being kind. The place is amazing with it’s own pool and a short walk to a beautiful beach you will have almost all to yourself. The food they cook is also great, we highly recommend the grilled prawn or their rice and curry. My daughter had her birthday while we stayed here and they made her feel very special. We highly recommend this place to everyone, it is simply perfect. We will definitely return.

Extremely friendly host and stuff. Located directly at black sands beach. Coming here for surfing, swell check from the bed was possible. Food was very tasty. Still a rather quiet and peaceful spot.

Garden Villa Talalla is a beautiful little hotel close to a nice section of the beach of Talalla. Gaby and her team are very welcoming and made our stay most enjoyable. We loved the breakfast served in the patio adjacent to the pool. Highly recommend to stay at Garden Villa.

Fantastic value for money - what's described by Lighthouse Beach Home as the "budget room" could be "deluxe" elsewhere. Rooms are well maintained and nicely equipped, even if small - still comfortable, and you can shower while looking at the lighthouse through the bathroom window. The family running the place is very friendly and speak good English. Next to the guesthouse they have a nice, quirky restaurant on the waterfront. You can park a tuk tuk or a bike in the garden - sun beds then get moved to the rooftop terrace, which has views to the ocean and the bay.

I stayed here for two nights and had a truly pleasant and peaceful experience 😊. The property is clean 🧼, and the room was spacious and comfortable 🛏️. I was especially impressed by the beautifully designed bathroom 🚿✨. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk from Matara Railway Station 🚉. What truly made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of the hosts 🤗. The aunty and uncle who live next door are incredibly kind and always ready to help with a warm smile 🧓👵❤️.
