We booked the accommodation at the last minute. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view nestled between the tea fields. The old house is tastefully furnished, with very friendly staff and an excellent kitchen. There is a private waterfall on the estate that is truly worth visiting. We were very satisfied and would return anytime.

I loved everything, especially the owners, Pearl and Ranjan. They treated us like their own children—they are truly wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious; Pearl is an amazing cook, and Ranjan joined us for a walk around the area. If we ever return to Matale, this will undoubtedly be our stop again. Thank you for everything. Hello. My name is Polina :) I have the best impressions on this hotel. I spent there 5 days. The stuff always asked me where I was going to go, when I would come back and if I liked everything. That made me feel safe. Cute cleaning boys left flowers, inscriptions and towels, folded in different shapes on my bed. I want to note, that food and cocktails in the hotel restaurant were incredibly delicious. I've never tasted such dishes before. The hotel location is perfect. I got more than I could expect. Within and outside the territory there were almost no people. This is the best place in the whole world to have a rest from people and enjoy nature and solitude. Dogs, monkeys and lots of different species of birds live at the territory too. There is also a waterfall. Thank Isuzu, who accompanied me on the private trip and told a lot about birds and species, treated with fruits and berries and answered all my questions. Thank Dulakshi for the individual approach and attention. I also want to notice that I don’t speak English, but it wasn’t a problem. Each person at the hotel happily spoke to me using translator and didn’t regret to take time for it. Everybody was really responsive and helpful. Thank them all for their treatment. It’s definitely a place where I would like to return.

When booking this Hotel I thought it looked nice, but that just do not do it justice. The welcome was perfect with an intro massage whilst checking in. The views from the reception are absolutely stunning set in an idyllic location. The staff were incredibly attentive, the room was exceptional with an in nature feel about it being so well positioned and overlooking the nature park. The only noises to hear were nature itself. Wonderful choices for food and drinks both local and international.

I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!
