I had an exceptional stay at the guesthouse! The family managing it is incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were surprisingly comfortable considering the affordable price. Every detail was thought of, and cleanliness was exemplary. The Lookout Lodge is simply amazing. It’s an oasis which has been developed with much love and care. The people running it are wonderful, the rooms are clean and stylish and the swimming pool is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the (empty) beach and a 10 min walk to the turtle rescue center. It only has four rooms so it’s quiet and private. You have a unique view of the lagoon with all kinds of animals, and peacocks that love to use the roof of the lodge!

Amazing location as the property was in beach front, with a little gate giving access to the beach. Due to being low season we are the only guest but the quality of the stay was not impacted, and the host was amazing. Swimming pool is modern and it was clear even if it was just for us. The room was clean , spacious and air conditioning was powerful. We recommend the local breakfast with sea view. Lunch and dinner was not possible during our stay but host recommended us 'Priya Moon Cafe and Seafood Restaurant' located 500m away and it was so good we came back during the second night.

Amazing pool right on the beach front, large rooms with a great view of the ocean. Quiet location with and the hotel had a scooter available for hire so we could venture into Tangalle. Great stay.
