The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and very stylish. It was great to have access to the living spaces and not only the bedroom. We were also very happy to be able to use the washing machine. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Although we didn’t have much time to enjoy the daylight, the gardens at the hacienda are beautiful.

It IS a JUNGLE resort! It is intelligently well built around the trees and mangroves, even the swimming pool matches and gives jungle vibe. A jungle vibe cannot be complete without animals around: squirrels at the pool, small turtles, crabs, but the best: from the lagoon view suite: view on the crocodiles and so many different kinds of birds. Pristine beach but it wasn’t as sandy white as in the pictures, that really depends on the season. Great staff! From the moment you reach the hotel, at the bar, at the restaurants, at the spa, the staff is friendly and ready to help. Excellent food! Breakfast is not buffet but à la carte, it fits an eco friendly approach. Quite some variety. Same for dinner. A must for seafood lovers. Special thanks to Mitila and the executive Chef Chandika, for preparing some local vegetarian not-on-the-card dishes for us. Very much appreciated.

Review: We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, reminiscent of a Balinese resort. It was very well-equipped, though a mini-fridge and hand towels would have been a nice addition. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. The rooms are built in a cabin-style structure with high ceilings, creating a cozy yet airy atmosphere. The outdoor restaurant area offers a beautiful panoramic view, with tables and a bar where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was truly exquisite, with high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. A special mention to the host, who went above and beyond to help us with everything. On the second morning, he even prepared a gluten-free adaptation of the breakfast so I could fully enjoy the experience. This place is an oasis of peace and tranquility, yet conveniently located near restaurants and a stunning, paradisiacal beach just a 7-8 minute walk away. We highly recommend it for a relaxing and unforgettable stay!

Our room was spacious – with a private bathroom, balcony overlooking the garden, crisp AC, reliable Wi‑Fi, and great comfort overall . It quickly became our peaceful little haven after a day in the sun. But what truly set this place apart was the warmth of the hosts—Suman, Mallika, and their family. They greeted us even during our early arrival, having our room already prepared . Mallika’s home‑cooked Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace was a daily treat—delicious, generous, and served with heartfelt kindness . The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming—complete with friendly cats, chickens wandering through the garden, and a homely ambience that truly made us feel “at home” . I booked one night at C Beyond but liked it so much I extended my stay for a second night. The villa and plunge pool was unexpectedly luxurious. The Laki Senanayake designed house was exquisite and replete with his sculptures and paintings. The food was consistently delicious. Eric, the manager was an accomplished host. I highly recommend C Beyond and its beautiful beach location.

The hotel is stunning, it feels very luxurious for a reasonable price for european standards. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the manager Shyakthi. We ended up staying 2 more nights. The biggest highlight was the private beach, we were there alone most of the time and the sea is perfect for swimming. The beach is equipped with sun beds and a shower. The hotel offers 4 course dinner for 7000 rupees per person and ayurvedic massage for 35 dollars. It is the perfect place if you want to relax in a beach resort.
