Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

Everything was great. Both cabins are very neat and clean and cozy with charming views on the lake. Dinner and breakfast were delightful. What makes it special is a fact that you can rent bikes and explore Polonnaruwa by yourself (or with the great host). There are many monkeys, birds and cows around. We slept like babies, no mosquitos.

Really welcoming host, the rooms were immaculate, great hot showers, clean bathrooms, one of our favourite stays in a 5 week trip around Sri Lanka. The location and the great field views made it a fantastic place to stay while exploring the temple/ruins. Set back from the main road so it was quiet at night too. The food was absolutely amazing - the breakfast was huge and brilliant value for money at $3 each, don't miss out on the fantastic coconut and honey pancakes. We ate dinner here both nights of our stay and the amazing flavours and generous portions were better than a lot we have seen in restaurants on our travels. The spiced chicken/rice with all the sri lankan side dishes we had was lovely! The host is always there without being intrusive, happy to help book things if needed or just have a chat. Would thoroughly recommend staying here!

Everything is perfect! All the staffs are friendly and try to help. The location is very good. It's close to the Museum where you can buy the ancient city ticket easily. It really saved our time

Staff was more than friendly and helpful. They helped us book a safari to a nearby Eco park for a very nice price and also gave us good advice on what to do in the Polonnaruwa ancient city. The pool was exceptionally clean and warm.

Perfect peaceful getaway! Sunrise Lake in Polonnaruwa is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The view of the lake, especially during sunrise, is breathtaking so calm and peaceful. 🌅 The cabanas are clean and cozy, and the garden around is well kept. We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.
