Waouh! We were 5 and when waouh is the first word which comes to you when you see the rooms then it is perfect! Extremely clean! Staff is extremely nice and helpful! Very nice swimming pool of good size. Food is excellent. Near to the park and they can organize a jeep. We had difficulty to have a van on pick me but they found one for us. THANK YOU

We stayed for one night at Wild Lake Side Lodge to do two safaris in Uda Walawe NP. Milan is a wonderful host and made our stay very pleasant and memorable. We rented two of his three cabins which are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped with aircon, hairdryer, water kettle for tea and coffee and a fridge. We enjoyed sitting on our private patio in the evening watching fireflies. Milan is very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. He also cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast with the best omelette on our trip. This is a truly beautiful little gem in a lush tropical garden.

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Amazing place to stay for a safari tour. We had a half-day safari and could see a lot of animals including elephants, crocodiles, water buffalos, spotted deers, a lot of birds, and others. One of the best days during our trip around Sri Lanka!

A super and very large room with a lovely sit-out area. Thoughtfully furnished room- everything there and in the place you would expect it to be. A great pool. A great location- nature all around you and birds chirping and singing their hearts out. It's also close to the safari as well as the dam reservoir which is a decent small trip at sunset. Super help by the owner with the transport to the property and onward. And with the safari as well. Clear, concise and prompt communication gave confidence while planning the trip with kids. A nice restaurant- we loved the pork with coconut rotis and the dhal. And lastly, but very importantly, lovely staff. Always with big and genuine smiles and ever ready to help, they made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Chanuka, Shamik and Nupun- they were exceptional.

This was really an excellent homestay. Lovely and warm family. They looked after us really well. The lunch, dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious made by Shiwanthi. Nice hot shower. Spacious veranda in front of the room. We went on an excellent game drive with husband Nalaka. Good elephant, peacock and deer sightings. Both, Shiwanthi and Nalaka are very friendly and helpfull.

Extremely friendly staff. Very close to the park, they managed the safari tour with an experienced guide. They gave us breakfast to go for the tour. We also got many recommendations on what to do around the place. The bathroom is spacious and clean.
