We had a great stay! The hosts were very kind and made us feel like home! The host picked us up from our previous accommodation and also gave us a small tour of the best spots at Talalla beach. The breakfast was also very nice!

I would like to note the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help. Breakfast is different every day, very tasty and beautiful, every day we were served fruit from their garden! They also have a restaurant, the food is fast, the portions are huge, there is a lot of seafood. With our own eyes near the hotel we saw monkeys, peacocks, lizards and it’s wonderful! In general, we were pleasantly surprised by the service, I highly recommend this hotel to families with children or quiet groups!

Great accommodation! It’s brand new, they just opened a few weeks ago. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful overall. Breakfast is very nice with a lot of fresh fruit. Great location, very very close to the beach. The room was impeccable, so clean.. spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here! They will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a blast. The location is really good it is located on a really small street so it is really quiet and you can chill in the terrace watching the garden and relax. You can find a supermarket next door and a beautiful beach (thallala beach) in 2 minutes walking. You can also do day trips with the local bus or a scooter to other beaches close by. The breakfast was amazing (try the Hoppers to deep into the Sri Lankan food). The family is really welcoming and helpful. We felt like part of the family. We would definitely come there again. :)

The fantastic Madame Mani is the owner and manager of Gurugedare Heritage. She welcomes all guests with open arms and you feel welcome and home immediately. International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients.     The host received us with coffee and biscuits. He was friendly, in a way that made me and my friend(both female) comfortable and at ease. It was one of the most clean rooms we've slept in during our trip to Sri Lanka- on a tight budget. It was right near the beach which is a gem still to be discovered. The breakfast was also nice, enough to fill us up. Overall a pretty good stay. Good parking for our tuktuk as well :)
