I've stayed in at least 100 different locations in Sri Lanka over the years, but Agro Village wins my award for the best rooms. Designed and built by the owner, the rooms are light and airy, with all the plugs in the right places, an amazingly comfortable bed, no mosquitoes, a very good bathroom - with a mop! - and an outside area in the trees. The food is just right too. And he's planning a swimming pool! The price is a lot lower than other places in Kalpitya, if we needed any other reason to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Dune Towers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they prepared some delicious lunch and dinner for us during our stay. We especially appreciated being allowed to use the facilities for a few extra hours after check-out — a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even better. The building itself is truly unique, with the dune tower design adding a special touch to the atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The location is also great — just a short walk from the beach and with a lovely swimming pool on site. While it is a bit remote from other places, we didn’t mind at all. We were happy with the food options provided and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the beach and pool. All in all, a peaceful and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Good spot near the beach and lagoon. Friendly and helpful Staff. The food was exceptional, the Room very cozy and comfortable. They will always help if you need something. We had the chance to see and swim in bioluminescence water in the lagoon. it was magical. Thankyou for everything

The Majestic Beach Retreat with its location, amenities and hospitality is one of the best holiday locations on the Western coastal belt of Sri Lanka. I could truly unwind and relax at this retreat to the sounds of the ocean's waves. Its infinity pool offers beautiful vistas of the setting sun. It was absolutely fantastic! We were so delighted to be in such a paradise as a final chill out of our one month's trip in Sri Lanka. It was probably our best accommodation! Nobody is there,just quite fishermen ,who are always busy with fishing and repairing nets. This fresh fish we ate every evening, cooked in different ways ( the prices were also amazing friendly). Very clean,made with love,room with a terrace right on the seaside. Super friendly hosts! If you need to go to the village, they can drop you with tuk tuk(10min). Very clean area in general. Kilometers of empty beach,swimming is great there. Highly recommended!!! Thanks very much, Rexy and his big family!!

Beautiful property and well maintained . The owners were fabulous and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a private bungalow which was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The meals were great and plentiful. We would visit again.
