Sleeping under the stars outsude my tent - on a matress that they put there specially for me. The wood fire in the boma. Music, drumming. The feel and energy of the camp. Timelessness, spacious .. The philosophy of the host. The look of the camp: Tents made of old carpets, yet with doors that can be locked. The communal space: a roof made of 🌴 branches, etc.: to let the cool breeze through Interacting with the camels - part of the family. What a great find! Close to Zagora, but out in the country, away from the tourist track, with greenery and birdsong. It was easy to find, following the directions sent to us, and we were warmly welcomed by Ali and Elza. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the little cabin was cozy and comfortable. Ali was very informative and gave us good suggestions for the area. A unique and wonderful place to stay. We'll be back!

We loved the setting and decor of the whole property to enjoy a wonderful first time stay in a Riad. Our room and facilities were very comfortable with additional areas and terraces to relax. The welcome was second to none with our hosts going over and above to make our stay ‘home from home’ including fetching late night delicious Zagora dates when we asked where to buy some the next day! The Riad provided us with our own guide to explore the palm gardens, kasbah and cooperative crafts including a trip to a spice and argan oil shop. Dinner and breakfasts on our two night stay were beautifully served and delicious.

A gem for genuine Moroccan and Berber hospitality. Walid and his family are incredibly warm, feels right at home. The guest house has a charming, traditional courtyard and terraces with mountain views; a peaceful place to relax. Absolutely beautiful place and crazy value for money. The food was exceptional also possibly some of the best I had in morocco. The staff were amazing, especially Omar. They were very patient with my poor french skills as they did not speak English well. However, it was no problem as everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The garden and property were so beautiful. One of the best places I stayed in morocco and would have stayed longer if i didn't have a schedule. Definitely stay here if you are in Zagora!
