If you are in Xilitla for the surrealism of Edward James and Leonora Carrington, this is the essential Mexican portion of the visit being the creation of Plutarco Gastelum, James's friend and craftsman. An original Carrington graces one of the walls. Guests effectively have the full run of the building, its open spaces and living room preserving the fixtures and contents of the past.
