We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.

Boasting a bar, a garden and garden views, Tiger Tops Karnali Lodge is situated in Bardia National Park. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

Shortly after booking a room Shardul reached out to us and provided us with travel information. Once in Nepal our plans changed and Shardul was very helpful in picking us up and accommodating us an extra night. Upon arrival we immediately felt very welcomed and comfortable at this lovely homestay! Everyday Shardul and his family provided us with delicious Nepali meals made from the fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden. Thanks to the preparation and attention to detail there was always enough variety of food even on the long safari days. Our absolute highlight in Bardia was going on jeep and walking safaris with Shardul himself. With his professional experience and a bit of luck on our side, we were fortunate to spot the elusive tiger! Shardul’s competence in his profession and passion for wildlife conservation made us feel safe while out in the jungle. We regret having to leave and hope to be back in the future! We loved our stay. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and the all place is well looked after. We had the best jungle safari with Bale, we couldnt have a better guide!

A beautiful place! The garden is lovely and the rooms look great. We were in the jungle with the owner, Papu, for many days. He is a very skilled guide with excellent English, who doesn't only have a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants, but also cares about safety and the wellbeing of the animals we observed. We were very lucky to even see two tigers on different days with him. I really appreciated his knowledge of birds too. Very happy to have had you as our guide Papu!

Lovely authentic and green place with cottages. The houses are spacious and clean. Can't wish for a more friendly and helpful staff! The host Krishna helped us with anything we wanted, from the excursions, visiting a treehouse, the park and having up to date information about the buses. The balcony of the main building has a beautiful view on the park and river. From here you can enjoy the nature, spot the elephants, monkeys and crocodiles. Moreover, the freshly cooked breakfasts and dinner were a delight, which made it a very relaxing stay.
