The owner, Andy, was so welcoming and gave good information about the area. Breakfast the next morning with some made to order options was quite a treat. The property is set in a lovely and peaceful orchard - just a great respite at the end of a busy travel day. Close to both Tutukaka and Whaigarei, it was perfectly situated for exploring and for our dive trip the next day to the Poor Knights Islands.

We felt like we were at home. Very friendly Hosts and super flexible to accomodate our needs. They were engaging with us individually. Very welcoming and friendly. Good size milk offered in glass, not ridiculous, tiny plastic containers with 1 tsp of milk in them. Comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities and well appointed. Bathroom appeared remodelled, excellent water pressure. Location slightly out of town but quiet and relaxing.
