Absalutly idyllic chalet, super cosy, and had everything we needed, plus more! We had the fire on most of the time with it being winter. It gave a super cosy feel. The beds were super comfy. It's just a really well furbished and comfortable stay!!!

This older farmhouse is spacious, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The hosts provided complementary local produce, which felt very welcoming. There was plenty of room for family members to park. The rural outlook and views of the Rangititkei cliffs contributed to a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for outdoor activities in and around Mangaweka.

Flat Hills Tourist Park is located on State Highway 1 in the beautiful Rangitikei Valley. Free private parking is available on site. All units have a flat-screen TV.

Perfect farm stay experience. The breakfast choices and the quality of the food are great. We arrived close to midnight and the room was kept warm to welcome us. The animals too greeted us upon our arrival. The direction to the home and the utilities are clear that we do not have issue finding them

I wished, we could have stayed longer for relaxing and exploring this rural area. Sue and David are wonderful attentive and communicative hosts speaking reliable German and French. They made their house our home for 1 night. An amazing breakfast was served in the morning. Set in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. No microwave or shower, but the oven with all the pots and pans, and the bath with ample hot water, did the job equally as well and more authentic. Had an interesting chat with Bunny, who has been there all his very interesting life and which has been captured in a very interesting book. Managed a few chapters but will return for 2 nights within 12 months to finish the rest. I also enjoyed chatting to James the farm manager, a very friendly and amiable person. Good, honest country folk. The time there was one of those memorable experiences that I will always treasure.

Hopwood Bed & Breakfast is situated in Taihape and has recently renovated accommodation, a kitchenette and mountain views.

Dreamed place in the middle of an awesome valley. Waking up to the chirping of birds and facing horses was incredible. The staff was very nice. Perfect place to unwind.
