The pub was very busy - it was a public holiday - but I didn't hear any noise. I was in Room 15 and this room didn't face the car park or pub. Was impressed there was Sky TV and the heat pump looked like a recent addition to the room. Linen very fresh and clean. The bed was so comfortable, amazing. Very good Continental breakfast included in the price. Evening meals at the Bar, outside alfresco style. Good selection on the menu at reasonable cost. Good place to meet some of the laid back locals. Off street parking. The most laid back reception I have ever experienced ! However, that's the Hokianga (region). Laid back lifestyle. We stayed in a Studio unit which was very clean and comfortable. The large shower was excellent with great water pressure. The room had a cute little balcony with outdoor seating and a small table. We had delicious fish and chips from the takeway shop right next door. This was followed by a big icecream from the same shop.
