Hidden gem, great vibe and perfect place to hang out, weather was a bit grim. Was cosy and perfect for our needs. Very friendly staff. Loved our time here, lots of great walks nearby, really enjoyed Otira Valley Track.

Location, the cosy hut, the owner replied right away to our queries, comfy beds with the electric blanket, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden.

Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside.

This is the most quirky and wonderful hotel we have ever stayed at. If you prefer hotels that sport new carpets, white walls, spotless furniture, and quietly submissive staff, don't visit the Otira Stagecoach Hotel. It is the exact opposite of all that. And we loved it.

Very unique stay in the middle of the mountains. It was certainly a small hut, which made for a fun experience as a part of our travels. The toilet is outside, but it was very clean and modern so it was not an issue for us. Check in instructions were very clear. It was interesting to be able to use the record player and the wood stove. We were lucky to have a relatively clear night which allowed us to have a great view of the stars

Great friendly host. Immediately made you feel welcomed. Apartment was well insulated and kept us warm all night through a really cold night. Got a fantastic toilet with a nice bath!

Pete's Place really is the prettiest little house we have ever seen. The garden is beautiful and lovingly laid out; the interior is surprisingly modern and very tastefully furnished. We were all particularly impressed by the bathroom. The equipment was very good, we had all we needed. Everything is clean and in top condition. In our opinion, Pete's Place is the ideal accommodation for 2-3 people on site.

The hostel was so clean! The beds were fresh and cozy. The upstairs lounge area has a tea & coffee station - with milk which was a lovely touch. It's right in the centre of the village too. Would definitely stay again (:

My stay in the Moa cabin was outstanding—cozy, warm in winter, and inviting. Location wise, you can easily drive across all the hotspots along Arthur's Pass. The reception was welcoming, providing clear directions. Clean shared kitchen and bathrooms made for a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!
