A lovely place to stay that I would recommend to anybody! Eating in for dinner is great too, the owners are the kindliest people ever and it was great to chat with them -- thanks very much for your hospitality!! Room was so clean too, and had such pretty views all around and stars at night.

Spacious reasonably equipped apartment . Challenging golf course which was fantastic. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent both nights we ate there. The chateaubriand was an absolute standout.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Yuki’s Chalet! The views were simply stunning, offering a breathtaking backdrop that made every moment special. The place itself was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly need and more. From the kitchen appliances to thoughtful little touches, no detail was overlooked. A delightful surprise was the unexpected bottle of bubbles and chocolates waiting for us on arrival—such a lovely gesture that made the stay feel even more special. The host was beyond helpful and genuinely lovely, always available when needed and truly went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s rare to find accommodation that combines such beautiful surroundings, incredible amenities and a host who truly cares. Can’t wait to return!

Stunning area, lovely apartment, open fire, soft bed fresh home laid eggs and a friendly dog! Handy to Mt Hutt, Methven and the Rakaia Gorge, which we explored in the morning. Would be a good base for skiing in the winter.

Peaceful location. Away from town centre yet within walking distance to town for meals. Everything is clean and neat. Shaun is very friendly and helpful.
