We didn't want to stay in the large hotels and opted for this small guesthouse in Mutrah. It is a fantastic location to explore the city on foot. There is a large and safe parking lot nearby and from here it is a 2 minute walk to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is clean and beautiful. We had two rooms since no family room was available. We paid extra for breakfast and it was very good. But they only provide water and we had pay at the bar for a tea.

I upgraded to an ocean view room with a balcony. it was well worth the extra money as I had a beautiful view of the ocean and pools. On the balcony I had 2 chairs and a sun umbrella. Amenities in the room were excellent. The hotel has 2 beautiful pools each around 25m long. There is also beach access via the steps. Lots of sun loungers by the beach and pool. The breakfast was amazing…a wonderful variety of food. I ate in the pub one evening and the food was also delicious. The hotel also has a wonderful fitness centre and the gym equipment is modern. There was a free shuttle bus to the souk in the evening.
