Casas de Ruumar isn't just a bed and breakfast, it's an experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by the attentive hosts. They were always on hand to offer advice on local attractions, recommend fantastic restaurants, and even helped me organise day trips and airport transfers. Their attention to detail was incredible, ensuring every aspect of my stay was seamless and enjoyable. The accommodation itself was pristine. Everything was clean, high-quality, and readily accessible, making me feel instantly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts even went above and beyond, offering to cook a delicious homemade meal and ordering takeaway for me after a long day of exploring. The beautifully maintained grounds were another highlight. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and inviting, and the lush plants and tidy garden added to the peaceful atmosphere. This has to be one of the best places I've ever stayed. The combination of the attentive hosts, pristine accommodation, and beautiful surroundings created an unforgettable experience. If it had been possible, I would have definitely extended my stay! Everything - Sarah made herb tea in the morning and evenings for us, gave a garden tour of all her plants, provided free water, made excellent meals at good prices, was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable, and lives in a peaceful, country location - highly recommend.

The place is really clean and of good quality. Its just a five minutes drive from the Chocolate Hills. The host, captain Lino, is just the best! Always checking how you are doing, helping and giving tips on what to do. I believe his prayer even stopped the rain and gave us the sunshine we craved. You can also eat here for a good price.

Everything was really nice. the owner is a gem and so is the neighbourhood. the room was very clean and I didnt see a single bug inside. free coffee. nice chill areas and an incredible price. stores very close and the main road a short walk. I liked the amount of nature and also the type of travellers I encountered there. it was great!

The people running the hostel are amazing! If you are travelling to Bohol you need to go here. You won't regret it. You can rent motorbikes from them which makes it really easy to explore Bohol. The Chocolate Hills are 15 minutes away

Khloe's Serenity Guesthouse was our best accommodation in the Philippines, and one of the best guesthouses we've stayed at in all of Southeast Asia. The rooms are efficient and clean with good use of space and plenty of room to store your bags. Shared bathrooms are kept very clean as well. But the family who owns this guesthouse is what makes it really standout. They are so kind and welcoming, will take good care of you and make you feel like friends. The village itself is also nice to walk around. We did not rent a motorbike, which did limit us a little bit, but they helped arrange a private tour of Bohol at a good price for us.

What an amazing place to stay! The host Lorenzo and his wife Beverly made our whole trip in bohol special. From the very start Lorenzo was welcoming and friendly introducing us to the clean and spacious room we were in. Lorenzo also gave us plenty of local recommendations including restaurants and places to visit and allowed us to hire out some bikes even ging out of his way to come rescue us in a car when we were too afraid to drive back in the dark!! Everything about our stay was exceptional and Lorenzo and his family go above and beyond to make your stay a memory you will never forget, feeling more like friends than just a hotel host. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit and I cannot recommend this place enough if you are planning on going to bohol this is the place to stay, and for a very reasonable price aswell!!

The restaurant and the room itself was very good, beautifully designed especially for the area. Maybe pricey for the average traveller or backpacker but okay for our purposes. We were very kindly treated, especially because my partner was hit by a trike and fell onto the road before we got to the hotel and was badly scratched up. It changed our plans a little but we were able to rest super comfortably.
