Well - everything was fabulous, starting with a super friendly/kind host, nothing was a problem. The apartment house is family ran. The apartment was almost new and well furnished and of course - comfortable. You can reach very nice places by the river Soča quitw quickly.

This was by far the best experience of staying in an apartment in all of Slovenia. The apartment itself was big with a double room, a sitting area, a full fledged kitchen, a bathroom & a garden area all for the guest's use. There is only one apartment making it exclusive. Slobodan, the man who owns & runs this place is so humble & extremely hospitable. The natural apple juice from his farm was so tasty, we asked for a second bottle which he readily presented with some snacks too. Overall, a not to be missed experience at Mosta na soci. Thank you Slobodan.

A wonderful place, situated in a great location. A wonderful turquoise lake nearby and even a playground. It is a great base for trips in the surrounding area. The host was very friendly and the place is well equipped with a parking space. Highly recommended.

I was very surprised to find this very nice apartment in the old part, in the middle of the center of Kanal at the Soca. It is an old house restored with care and taste. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen (including a full-sized fridge and freezer), a kitchen table with chairs, sleeping sofa, large separate bathroom and bedroom. We did not have breakfast at the property but saw that local goods were offered. The place is next to the tourist information, close to a couple of bars/restaurants and in walking distance to a small supermarket, post office, ATM. Around the corner is a charming little square with an art gallery (pottery).

Newly adapted apartment in an independent smart house (solar panels, rain water collection, heat pump). Must visit for all eco-freaks. Hosts are extremely friendly and flexible. Drinking water provided on site. Clean and comfy. Fully equipped kitchenette (cooking top, kettle, air fryer), kitchen utensils. Terrace with stunning views. Beautiful furnishing and deco (stone and wood). Mezzanine room is classy. There is not a single thing we found inconvenient. The charm of the estate is in its isolation, so if you are not prepared for a 30 min drive to the first restaurant, rather avoid this property, or plan better. Above all, there is a small Okrepčevalnica ("refreshment bar") in Vrtače itself. For activity freaks there are numerous hiking and cycling trails around and water sports opportunities on Soča river, as well as wine tasting possibilities in Primorska region. If you are looking for tranquil getaway, this is the place. Forests, meadows, villages and views in the vicinity of this property are simply stunning.
