Every detail about this place was outstanding, though we though the extra charge to sit in the library, which was a small room when entering the building was a bit silly.

BEAUTIFULLY furnished room and bathroom, an absolutely comfortable bed, perfectly working heating. An incredibly good breakfast at the cozy barn and dinner at the tavern we can also only recommend. Located in a friendly and welcoming small town, the Station Inn was everything we could have asked for after spending some time in New York City. This was the perfect retreat and an authentic experience of the American lifestyle. The inn itself was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Susan keeps an outstanding property, and having met her and her husband in the local Irish pub, we could sense the pride they had for the inn and for Pawling as their home.

Staff were superb, especially Kim Paparo (the front office manager). She went out of her way to make us feel very special and all the staff we met were very friendly and considerate. The breakfast was way better than we’d been expecting and the guest laundry made life very easy for us.
